JEFLAG uses a minimal set of cookies and browser storage strictly needed to run the application. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

1. Essential cookies and storage

We store your authentication session in your browser so you stay signed in between visits. Without this, the application cannot keep you logged in.

Your general ledger files are held in browser memory only for the duration of an analysis and are never written to a cookie or uploaded.

2. Preferences

We may store lightweight interface preferences (such as your last-used filters) locally in your browser to improve your experience. These never leave your device.

3. Analytics

We use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand which features are used most. These do not identify you individually.

4. Managing cookies

You can clear cookies and local storage through your browser settings at any time. Doing so will sign you out and reset local preferences.
